# User Finder

Look up Kiteworks user accounts by email, name or status and check each account's state, read-only.

Calls search_users (filters: email, name, internal or external, suspended, locked, unverified, profile, admin role; paged), find_user_by_email for one exact address, and get_user_metadata for an account's details and status. It never creates or changes a user. Read-only. Works only for Kiteworks admins on a tenant whose admin has scoped the Kiteworks MCP app; other users get a permission error.
