# File & Folder Finder

Find files and folders by name or text across everything you can access in Kiteworks.

Calls the Kiteworks MCP search, search_files and search_folders tools to find files and folders by name or text. Results cover only what the signed-in user can access, even for admins. It finds items but does not open or change them. Any signed-in Kiteworks user can use it, on the local connector and on the hosted remote server.
